Hot Bruno is a current Superuniverse Top 10 character created from the hilarious name of a Wrestling Hotline curated by Bruno (and created from his time in the UWF by Herb Abrams), where his serious and downplaying enthusiasm about "the real scoop in professional wrestling" was a point of humor within the 6:05 community, alongside the fascination and curiosity towards Bruno's ever changing hairstyles (and hair line) throughout his career.
Origin[]
Although Bruno Sammartino - and his luscious wig emporium - had been mentioned in prior conversations on the Superpodcast, the first mentioning of his hotline appeared during Episode 27 by TGBL to Bix during a follow-up of a previous article written by Bix about some of the weirdest and wackiest hotlines in the history of professional wrestling, with TGBL mentioning that 1-900-HOT-BRUNO was conspicuously absent from the article.

A staple of the Hot Bruno bit during the Top 10 is either TGBL or that week's co-host asking Hot Bruno a question regarding his wigs, the personal hygiene of ring rats and larger mass wrestlers (such as Haystacks Calhoun,) or about random minutiae in the wrestling industry.
